My name is Laura Scott and I have performed thousands of permanent cosmetic procedures since 1988.

I began my training in 1982 at a traditional tattoo shop in San Jose, California. I continued on to the beauty industry, where I attended formal makeup training from Sebastian. There I learned the art of makeup with their Trucco line of cosmetics. I received my license in manicuring and opened my first salon and spa in Calaveras County. In 1988, after attending a conference in Southern California, I began my career in permanent cosmetics. I trained in Los Angeles and later joined the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP).

The SPCP is the leader in the industry of permanent cosmetics and has a very high set of standards that technicians must follow. I have successfully completed the certification exam set by the SPCP, and have received my credentials as a Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional (CPCP).

In 2005, I attended the Train the Trainers Class and received my certificate as a Certified Trainer for the SPCP. I attend many hours of conferences and training seminars each year, including advanced makeup procedures, scar camouflage, areola tattooing for breast cancer survivors, perfect brows, and color mixing, just to name a few.

To keep current on the latest in safety in sanitation and sterilization, I attend classes and obtain certification on Blood Borne Pathogens. I only use disposable equipment.

Locally, I work closely with several Plastic Surgeons and Lasik Eye Care Centers who offer an array of services. Outside of Sacramento, I provide services at several locations including Skin Care Clinics and Salons in San Ramon, Vacaville, and Murphys. My work and teaching take me to many wonderful places such as New York, Hawaii and Los Angeles.
